Freedom Starts With Being Who You Really Are

Jill Bolte Taylor, a Harvard-trained neuroanatomist, dedicated her entire professional life to unraveling the mysteries of the human brain. At the age of 37, a blood vessel exploded in the left side of her own brain.

This potential “show-stopper” presented her the opportunity to study her brain from the inside out. Through the mind of a curious scientist, Dr. Taylor observed her mental function rapidly deteriorate to the extent that she could not walk, talk, read, write, or recall simple facts.

While it took Dr. Taylor eight years to fully recover, this experience provided her a “stroke of insight” into who we really are and access to the ultimate in the experience of freedom.
