Waking Up to the Extraordinary

In the movie, Peaceful Warrior, the mystical character, nicknamed Socrates, tells his young pupil, a future Olympic gymnast, that "There are no ordinary moments."

We need only open our eyes, ears, and especially our hearts, to appreciate the miraculous around us.

For when we close them, we miss the true joys in life that are right in front of us.

If you haven't seen this clip already, you'll soon realize that, indeed, there are no ordinary moments. Have a box of tissues handy.
